Although music has informed most of Sartek(Sarthack Sardana) life, he never thought he would ever sit in a studio and compose a tune which could go world renowned and get signed by one of the biggest dance music label. However, curiosity got the better of this New Delhi resident, when he heard the legendary Ferry Corsten playing at a local club way back in 2007 which sparked his musical interest.
It wasn't just the music that got to Sartek, it was the science and the intricate detailing that went into making that perfect track. He travelled the world to countries such as Spain, Ibiza, Netherlands and Belgium to witness some of the biggest festivals to understand the music and the art of DJing, and the more he listened to it, the more he wanted to be part of it.... Sartek took his interest in Music Production further after all his travels when he enrolled into Delhi's famous Beatfactory Academy. Under the guidance and mentorship of Maestro and Academy head GauravDayal,legendary guitarist SaibalBasu and AmitYadav who discovered his immense talent and passion,he learnt the advance fundamentals of music production using Ableton and Logic Pro. For Sartek, it hasn't just been about producing a track with no soul. Every time he steps into a studio, he channels what he feels into his work. He treats each production like a science and he carefully constructs each of his tracks with detail and perfection.
2013 and onwards will showcase Sartek's talent and his unique sounds. Having being signed onto Dance Music's biggest label this young Chartered Accountant finalist promises to show you not just his originality but also his diversity in remixing the works of some of the industry's biggest artists. If there is someone to watch out for, it is Sartek - one of India’s most promising young EDM producers!
