To prick India’s electronic scene is to instigate an unhealthy bout of hyperventilation and rants on its true origins. A few artists along that bloodline speak lucidly, for the music alone. Space Jams, or as some would call him, Yohann, is one of those artists – fun loving, laconic, and for the night. He’s a member of the venerated party-­‐squad they call Bhavishyavani Future Soundz. His appreciation for varied genres of music can be traced back to many dynamic events in the past. He moved back to Mumbai aMer studying hotel management in Australia and landed a job working in the Aurus Kitchen. But his place was not behind the kitchen doors… he hated being behind the scenes when all the great music was being played outside. To anyone familiar with his eclectic tastes in music, this should come as liQle surprise. From Deep Disco to Acid House, New Wave to Indie Dance, Rave to Jacking Techno, SpaceJam’s broad musical palate transforms into a truly unique personal style. In short span of three years, he is regularly booked at some of Mumbai's hot nightlife venues such as F Bar, Aurus, Bonobo, enzi, Aer, Wink, to name a few. In addition to this, he also plays in Bangalore , Chennai nd Delhi regularly. In 2012 he spread his jams has even played as a guest DJ in several countries including Australia, Singapore, Thailand and most recently Tokyo, Japan. He's also had the privilege of opening for international acts uch as dOP, The mole, Pete Herbert and Broken Toy. Since the past couple of months he has collaborated with two of India's local scene seQers, Kris Corryea and Kini Rao in creating -­‐ District FiMy Grooves. He has also been pu]ngtogether music for fashion shows such as Lakme Fashion Week and Blenders Pride fashion tour 2012/ 2013. Along with the Djing he is also involved with client servicing, Set design, production & promotions for brands such as the Hennessy Artistry, The Wild Boat, Aurus Sundowns and the Belvedere Sundowns. Some of the projects he has worked on are with artists like Cesar Merveille,Tiger & Woodz Mike Shannon, Mathew Jonson, D'Julz, Dave Aju and Aquarius Heaven.

Kohra

Voted No. 3 Indian Electronic DJ by the DJ MAG INDIA Industry poll 2012 and recently nominated for as ‘Best Indie Artist for the inaugural MTV VMAI 2013, Kohra is the deep, hypnotic and often grungy mirror image of Madhav Shorey. Raw analog signals and lush soundscapes mixed with percussion sounds and sharp glitches is what can be heard through his mysterious productions. A style that is intelligent enough to mesmerize, yet simple enough to move you. , Constantly paving the way for a new sub-culture of underground dance music is no task for the timid, which is why he has already become the first Indian to have hit the top 10 charts on global industry standards such as Beatport. As a producer his music has been signed to many well respected international record labels including Sounds Of Earth, Trident Music, Wide Angle Recordings and Echoes Records to name a few. His Live set comprise his own productions performed in a deconstructive format with a constantly evolving component of granular synthesis, vocal sampling, various percussion and effect units. As a Dj, his sets are extremely captivating and reflect a distinct progressive, organic and streamlined approach to techno. He maintains that not only through his high standards of track selection but also with the release schedule of his own quality imprint of Qilla Records.

Kohra has performed at some of the best festivals in India, Dubai, Italy and Australia and has opened for the likes of Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Kaiserdisco, Matador, Christian Smith among others. The fact that he has been officially endorsed by leading brands such as Blackberry and Puma is only further authentication of his work.
